Our Fillings, Crowns & Restorations

1. Composite fillings (Tooth-colored fillings)

Tooth-colored composites are suitable for treating small and medium-sized defects.
They adhere directly to the tooth, protect the healthy tooth substance and blend harmoniously into the overall appearance of the smile.

Advantages:

  • natural aesthetics

  • direct, minimally invasive treatment

  • good stability

  • suitable for front and back teeth

Composite is also used to replace old or leaky fillings.

2. Renewal of old fillings

Defective or outdated fillings can lead to sensitivities, discoloration or secondary caries.
After a clinical assessment, such restorations can be replaced with modern composites or ceramics.

An exchange is useful for:

  • cracks

  • unstable fillings

  • caries under existing restorations

  • rough surfaces that promote plaque

3. Inlays & Onlays (Ceramic Inlays)

Inlays and onlays are suitable for defects that are too large for a simple filling, but do not yet require a crown.
The ceramic is individually manufactured in the Swiss laboratory and precisely fitted.

Advantages:

  • high stability

  • long durability

  • natural aesthetics

  • tissue-sparing

  • color-stable and biocompatible

They offer an optimal intermediate solution when the tooth needs to be strengthened, but there is still enough healthy substance available.

4. Dental crowns (ceramic or metal ceramic)

A crown is recommended if a tooth:

  • is severely weakened

  • has large or old restorations

  • is fractured

  • is structurally less stable after root canal treatment

Crowns protect the tooth from further stress and restore shape, function and aesthetics.

Options:

  • All-ceramic crowns

  • Metal-ceramic crowns

  • Swiss quality laboratory

5. Bridges & other restorations

Missing teeth can be replaced with bridges that are supported on adjacent teeth or implants.
The choice of care is explained according to function, longevity and aesthetic factors.

6. Treatment of tooth fractures

Depending on the damage, broken or cracked teeth can be treated with:

  • composite

  • ceramic (inlay/onlay)
