Questions about Pediatric Dentistry
When should my child first see a dentist?
As soon as the first teeth have come through, at the latest around the first birthday. Early visits are mainly for getting to know us.
Do baby teeth need treatment?
Yes. Baby teeth keep space for the permanent teeth, and decay can cause pain and spread to neighbouring teeth.
Does health insurance cover the cost?
Basic insurance covers dental treatment for children only in certain cases. Many municipalities also offer school dental services.
